ABOUT THE SNORKS

Welcome to The Snorks Golf Society Website. This site is dedicated to recording for posterity details of the annual summer golf tours undertaken by a group of like minded individuals who don't mind letting a drop of alcohol get in the way of a good round of golf.

The tour finally kicked off in 2001, after literally years of "wouldn't it be great to go on a golf trip" type conversations. The fundamentals established on the first tour still hold true to this day................. Thursday-Sunday, somewhere in Europe, hot weather, interesting golf courses, and a lively nightlife. The tour takes place late September or early October and provides a welcome extension to the all too brief English summer.

Oh!, and if you are wondering "Why The Snorks?"...........well, it's because we SNORE and we like NORKS.......obvious eh!!
